Hi Klaus, Thanks for your comment! I definitely prefer the outboard to the inboard – less problems, less weight, cheaper. I arrived to Buenos Aires with just the old Tohatsu, but thinking of Patagonia bought a new one – same model, Tohatsu 9.8HP 2 strokes. Having an extra motor has come in quite handy not only in Patagonia but also facing the currents in the atoll passes in Tuamotus. It is surely an advantage to have two motors on the boat – double security, although luckily we have come to need it rarely. Django is just so easy to sail even where the space is limited. Hello Christophe,

first I follow your Blog and I read all News I can get from your trip.
We have a question – in your Video the Django has 2 engines. why? Please tell us the reason.

Would it be better to by the Django with the inbord Diesel engine?

Ca me fait toujours un peu drôle de te voir à travers tes vidéos Christophe…Notre essai d’habitabilité à Concarneau et aux Glenans remontent à combien 2 , 3 ans…?
Je suis rassurée de voir que vous vous en sortez bien tous les deux …
